Creamy, Low-Fat, Vegan Golden Milk (Love for the Tummy)

Creamy and Delicious!

Vegan golden milk has become one of my favorite things! I rely on it pretty heavily when my stomach starts to feel unsettled or like it needs a reset! Golden milk comes from India and is filled with amazing spices and flavors! For example, this late includes turmeric, cardamon, ginger, and cinnamon! All of these things help relax the GI tract and can bring balance to your tummy:).

A Closer Look

The ingredients in this milky late are magical to me! Here are a few facts that you may want to know about these special spices and what they can do for your body!

Turmeric

Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin which when absorbed into your tissues can help your body in its healing processes! This root also has anti-aging properties. In other words, it helps improve skin tones and can reduce the visibility of aging lines. Turmeric is also a great anti-allergenic, anti-septic, and anti-inflammatory properties! I’d say its a pretty great root to invest in!

Ginger

Ginger also has similar properties. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that will help prevent illness and help relieve inflammation in the body.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is not just tasty but it also has lots of benefits! This spice is known to lower blood sugar levels and your risk for type two diabetes! Also, it contains prebiotics that can help regulate gut health. Finally, it is loaded with antioxidants!

All in all, this vegan golden milk is honestly one of the best things you could drink on a daily basis. It is just so good for you!

An added bonus, I do not use full-fat coconut milk in my late like many golden milk lates do! This reduces the heavy fat content that may be in many other golden milk late recipes! Despite the lack of the coconut milk it is still super creamy and super delicious!
